The Prince Albert Grand Council is now accepting applications for a full time Children’s Oral Health Initiative (COHI) Dental Aide carries in the community of Hatchet Lake Denesuline Nation. Under the direction and supervision of the PAGC Senior Dental Therapist, the COHI Dental Aide carries out the objectives of the COHI program to children ages 0-7 years old and will play an active role in promoting preventative oral health care to help children establish and maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Prior to performing COHI Dental Services, the COHI Dental Aide will be required to successfully complete the COHI training. Recertification will be completed annually.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Minimum grade 12 Diploma.

-Posses strong verbal and written communication skills.

-Basic computer skills and knowledge (Microsoft office)

-Must posses a valid drivers license.

-Must provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.

-Ability to speak the Dene language is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITES

-Provide chair-side assistance to the dental Therapist.
